Unlimited Compassion

In this abstract painting Dyson creates a powerful sense of connectedness and oneness. The floating blue spheres lightly touch, attach and become one. The subtle blue tones, the white background and the scale of the painting further create a visual sense of buoyancy, lightness and gentleness. The painting exudes a feeling of kindness, inclusivity and compassion.

Dyson reflects on disconnectedness and our delusion of separateness. She raises the question – does experience of fear and pain increase our capacity for compassion and empathy? Dyson believes we need to reach out and connect, build bridges not walls; to acknowledge our interconnection, take responsibility, and show compassion to life, to the planet, and to all sentient beings.
