Mixed Media Artist
Helen Dyson is a painter and a mixed media artist based in London. She is also an advocate for wellness, feminism, and environmental issues. She studied at the Wimbledon School of Art, before completing a BA (Hons) in Textiles at Middlesex University, and later went on to gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Art and Design at the University of London. Her art work has been exhibited and commissioned extensively, and it has caught the attention of collectors in Europe, Asia and the United States.
Dyson’s current work examines the human condition, both on a personal and on a collective level. She uses the circle as a metaphor for life, to represent protection, inclusion and wholeness, as well as to represent the infinite nature of energy and the inclusivity of the universe. Her paintings are testament to her philosophy and her vision of art which encompasses both the individual and the collective experiences of joy, compassion and strength, as well as vulnerability, frailty and insecurity. Her striking compositions are powerful, optimistic and inspirational.
